When you first enter the game, you'll spawn at the Grand Morioh Hotel. Complete the basic tutorial offered by the receptionist to learn controls and key combat mechanics like perfect blocks and dodges.

Efficient leveling is key to reaching Prestige. Here are the fastest methods:

• Storyline quests — your primary XP and loot source for early to mid-game.
• Yoshikage Kira boss — excellent early XP farm (3,000–10,000 XP per kill) due to lower HP.
• Gang missions — offer 4,000–5,000 XP for tasks like rescuing members or claiming territory. Territories also give passive money and XP.
• PvE and PvP Mission Boards — supplement your main questing with extra missions.
• World Events — provide experience and bonus rewards when active.
• Treadmill buff at Jojo's Bizarre Gym (near Bus Stop 2) — 50% XP boost for 15 minutes. Use this before any farming session.
